For this final project, we are to design a Studio at Subang Ria Recreational Park. A Studio by the park denotes ‘a structure in the park that is designed for quiet time, privacy, recuperation and escape from the noise and stress of daily lives. The studio should be within the built up space of maximum 100sqm and be able to accommodate 3 people comfortably. The Studio must correspond to the immediate site context. The relationship between my design and the context is important in making your Studio unique to its landscape and activity. The design of the Studio must demonstrate my design intentions through the application of architectural principles, materiality and constructability in creating a memorable spatial experience for the user(s)
