Comfort Research and Solutions
In the project, we need to measure and find out the range of air temperature that is within the comfort level. We also had to discuss other factors relating to thermal comfort. If the temperature is within the comfort range, we had to explain the reasons in terms of climate, human factor and building. If the temperature is not within the comfort range, we will again explain the reasons by analyzing the building and site in context. We also had to find issues conflicting the comfort level of the space and propose a good solution to achieve comfort.
Reflection
In a group of chosen friends, we managed to accomplish the task with everyone doing their part well. During this sem, we learnt a lot of new techniques through designing spaces to achieve comfort with architectural solutions. We were able to discover the strategies that encourage effective environmental design principles and building practices.
